Palju õnne sünnipäevaks !

Tänane sünnipäeva postitus on eriline. Nimelt on minu vennal täitunud veerandsada aastat, sõrmenips ja läinud see ongi. Kuna mul lähedasemate inimestega kombeks sünnipäevaks fotokollaaž teha, tahtsin seegi kord nii. Need, kes mind ja Andret tunnevad, teavad, et me pole kunagi piltidel koos. NO MITTE KUNAGI. Seega ma alustasin selle pildi tegemist skeptiliselt, et ilmselt leian meist 2 pilti koos ja pean ülejäänud siis kokku töötlema. Oma pildikaustasid tund aega läbi otsides (sest see on parim, mida teha ajal, kui peaks hispaania keele kodust tööd tegema) leidsin aga üllatavalt palju pilte minust ja Andrest koos. No okei, enamik on üsna kaugel nunnudest õe-venna piltidest, aga siiski - neid oli! Jeesss. Järgmiseks veerandsajaks aastaks võtan eesmärgiks ühistel üritustel Andrega ikkagi ühistele piltidele ka sattuda. Sellegi poolest, palju õnne sünnipäevaks, kallis vennaraas!

I looked in all the papers, 

I even looked on line

Praying that somewhere

A special gift for you I’d find.

Then I felt a gentle nudge

That gave me quite a start

“Look within your heart!”

So I looked inside my heart

At all the memories there

Of all the wonderful loving

Memories that we share.

And I came up with this little verse

That is so simple yet so true

The best thing about being your sister

Is that for a brother I have you.
